Tamela “The Holistic Weaver” Lyons is an author, nervous system regulation educator, and creator of the somatic breath and rhythm-based method Breathe ’N’ Jam ©. She is the author of The Good Girl Unlearning – Let Her Rest, a transformative work that invites women to unlearn overfunctioning, release survival patterns, and reclaim rest as a sacred and necessary practice.

Through a unique blend of trauma-aware education, breathwork, somatic movement, and embodied ritual, Tamela supports women in regulating their nervous systems, reconnecting with their bodies, and returning home to themselves. Her work centers women who have spent their lives being “the strong one,” “the good one,” and “the responsible one,” teaching them how to soften without collapsing and rest without guilt.

As the creator of Breathe ’N’ Jam ©, Tamela offers an experiential approach to emotional regulation that integrates breath, music, and movement to help the body process stress and restore balance. Her teachings bridge science and spirituality, weaving together nervous system literacy with sacred self-connection.

Tamela’s mission is to normalize rest as resistance, regulation as leadership, and embodiment as a path to liberation. She serves as a guide for women ready to unlearn survival mode and live from a place of safety, presence, and wholeness.
